There were also two smaller signal boxes: Post II at the level crossing on Lt. Gen. Van Heutszlaan and Post III at the level crossing on Torenlaan. In 1959, the old mechanical light signals were replaced by modern light signals. With them the signal boxes disappeared too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are hardly any photos of Post II and Post III, and certainly no color ones. So what the buildings actually looked like is something of an educated guess. The model in this kit won't be 100% accurate, but—as far as I can tell—it comes pretty close.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough Post II and Post III are often referred to as \"signal posts,\" they appear to have been posts for controlling the level crossings.
