The YD8044 is specifically designed for powerfully driving turnout solenoids. Furthermore, the YD8044 features four relays for polarizing the frogs of the turnouts.
- Four independent 9.5 Amps outputs for solenoids.
- Smart 9400 µF CDU that monitors charge levels for safe and powerful shifting.
- Only 380 mA current consumption during charging.
- Polarization of the frogs via a relay that switches together with the solenoid outputs.
- Very simple basic configuration: press the programming button and switch on the desired switch address.
- No complicated CV settings.
- Addresses per output can be freely set.
- Sequential activation of the output based on pulse time and CDU charge level.
- Adjustable CDU startup delay to prevent the short-circuit protection in boosters from being triggered.
- Not suitable for turnout motors. Use our YD8116 for this. This also applies to MTB turnout motors.
- For dual solenoids, such as those from Kato, adapter YD6940 is required.
