Minitec Finescale Track Ballast - Phonolite H0 (1:87)
Precisely scaled Class I grain size. Track ballast made from genuine phonolite rock. Manufactured using innovative processing techniques: cubically and angularly crushed, followed by multiple washing, cleaning and disinfection processes.
Unlike conventional track ballast, the raw stone is not processed by traditional crushing (sharp-edged but flat grains) or grinding (cubic but strongly rounded grains). Instead, it is specially crushed to produce the characteristic cubic stone shape and sharp fracture edges found in real railway ballast.
