The classic s88N feedback module with current detection.

  • 16 current detectors, divided into two independent blocks of 8, each with its own common connection.
  • Continuous current of 2 Amps per detector; a total of 8 Amps across the 16 detectors of the module.
  • A short-term overload of 5 Amps (100 ms) per detector.
  • Sensitivity of 1-1.5 mA.
  • Capacitive input filter on each input to suppress noise on long cables and rails.
  • Configurable switch-on and switch-off delay for each input for interference suppression in case of non-optimal wheel-rail contact.
  • ES-OUT-Link for direct connection to an ES-Link master.
  • ES-IN-Link for connection to other ES-Link-compatible modules for module configuration.
  • Standard S88N connections via RJ45 connectors and Ethernet patch cables.
  • Firmware updates possible and settings configurable via ES-Link.
  • Power supply directly via ES-Link or S88 bus.
