YD8008 - 8-way turnout decoder with CDU

The YD8008 is specifically designed for powerfully driving AC solenoids.

  • Eight independent 9.5 Amps outputs for solenoids.
  • Smart 9400 µF CDU that monitors charge levels for safe and powerful shifting.
  • Only 380 mA current consumption during charging.
  • Very simple basic configuration: press the programming button and switch on the desired switch address.
  • No complicated CV settings.
  • Addresses per output can be freely set.
  • Sequential activation of the output based on pulse time and CDU charge level.
  • Adjustable CDU startup delay to prevent the short-circuit protection in boosters from being triggered.
  • Not suitable for turnout motors. Use our YD8116 for this. This also applies to MTB turnout motors.
  • For dual solenoids, such as those from Kato, adapter YD6940 is required.
